Arctic Monkeys Featured on Fundraising VA Album for Gaza, Sudan & More

Independent record label War Child Records is bringing together a star-studded group of renowned international artists on a new collaborative VA album to raise funds for children affected by war in 14 countries Palestine, Sudan, and Yemen.

Founded on the belief that recorded music can drive real-world change, War Child launched the Help project in 1995, which was considered one of the most significant charity records of its time, bringing together heavyweights like Oasis, Blur, Radiohead, and Paul McCartney.

Its long-awaited follow-up, Help 2, spans 23 tracks, all newly recorded exclusively for the release. The compilation features contributions from Arctic Monkeys, Pulp, Fontaines D.C., Ezra Collective, Depeche Mode, Damon Albarn, Wet Leg, Big Thief, Olivia Rodrigo, King Krule, and more. The project was unveiled via a trailer produced by Oscar-winning filmmaker Jonathan Glazer, filmed at Abbey Road Studios by children, and soundtracked by Arctic Monkeys’ ‘Opening Night’ - their first new music in nearly three years. Interwoven throughout the video is footage shot by children living amid conflict in Gaza, Yemen, Sudan, and Ukraine.

All proceeds from the VA compilation will be donated to War Child UK to support their programs through humanitarian aid relief, education, and mental health support.

Help 2 will be officially released on March 6th.
