Beirut’s Frequent Defect Will Throw Live Show on June 3rd
The line-up will feature Shanghai-based pioneer Osheyack, Serbian post-techno wizard SAUD and Polish-Berlin based diva Melania.
Born through lines of flight and subversion schemas, Beirut-based collective ‘Frequent Defect’ has been treating nightcrawlers with nights of industrial transgressive waves and cavernous music. After taking a short breather since their last rager ‘Discorded Practices’ in late April, they’re finally back with hyper-invasive night ‘Ambivalent Implements’, which will take place at Beirut’s ‘Mkalles Warehouse’ on June 3rd starting 5 PM.
Per usual, they’ve put together a hefty lineup of versatile hard-hitters composed of both local and international spinsters guaranteed to keep the blood pumping and adrenaline levels soaring, both DJ sets and live performances are on tap for the evening.
Some of the names taking the decks that stopped us in our tracks are Shanghai-based pioneer Osheyack, Serbian post-techno wizard SAUD and Polish-Berlin based hybrid-set diva Melania.
The rest of the line-up consists of local disruptors such as ‘Frequent Defect’ co-founders June as and Mazen Kerbaj. HWGA will also be playing back-to-back with Lebanese post-punk devotee Charbel Haber, unapologetic deconstruction artist Renata, post-club sonics enthusiast Try Harder, sound engineer and techno chameleon DAO, and hybrid production and DJing project Mawada.
