Hrag Mikkel and Pambouk have released a new two-track project, Cicada EP, on Alter Ego Collective. Known for their minimal yet emotional take on house music, the duo bring together natural textures and melodic detail.
“Circada,” unfolds slowly, building around a hypnotic groove with analog synths, layered percussion, and ambient atmospheres. It’s a meditative track that captures the quiet rhythm of nature.
“Sound of Disco” offers a more playful contrast. Leaning into funky basslines and vintage-inspired leads, the track pays subtle tribute to disco while staying grounded in modern minimalism.
