Khalil Qureshi’s ‘Better Tomorrow’ Amplifies Palestinian Resilience

Khalil Qureshi - also known as Quraish, an independent music artist and producer based in Bahrain - has released 'Better Tomorrow', a collaborative project that amplifies Palestinian resilience. This song blends cultural and geographical perspectives, uniting voices from across the Middle East and beyond.

Featuring artists like Maram (Saudi Arabia), Xenia (Bahrain and California), Ashhal Haider and Gul Mohammed (Pakistan), as well as Palestinian activist Rafeef Ziadah, 'Better Tomorrow' weaves together diverse musical elements. Arabic vocals intertwine with Urdu, while traditional instruments like the oud and manwal blend with the sarangi. Ziadah's powerful speech sample adds a layer of activism to the song.

Qureshi, the driving force behind the project, composed, arranged and produced 'Better Tomorrow'. He sought to create a piece that not only showcases Palestinian struggles but also fosters empathy and dialogue through its emotional resonance.

The track’s accompanying music video further enriches the narrative, visually illustrating the project's message of unity and hope. By bringing together artists from diverse backgrounds, 'Better Tomorrow' exemplifies the power of art to transcend borders and build solidarity.
