Red Bull Mat El Kalam to Host Freestyle Rap Qualifiers Across Egypt

The Red Bull Mat El Kalam freestyle rap tournament will host qualifiers for its 2024 edition in three different cities across Egypt, kicking off at Cairo’s Downtown District at the Greek Campus on September 5th, then Alexandria’s Russian Cultural Center on September 7th, before moving to the Misr Public Library in Mansoura on September 12th.

With the Egyptian rap trailblazers Abyusif, Ahmed Santa and Abo El Anwar once again on the judging committee, this year’s competition brings 16 of Egypt’s most promising MCs together to butt heads and show off their lyrical talent in front of some of the very best bar-droppers in the rap game. These qualifiers come after a nationwide talent search, where the judges chose 16 of the contestants who applied to make it through to the competition and have a chance to go to the finals and become Red Bull Mat El Kalam freestyle champion this year.

What more, you can now go and watch eight qualifying rappers face off in an epic showdown at each governorate, battling for the title of ‘Red Bull Mat El Kalam’ champion live. Tickets for each event are available at the door for EGP 50, and each event starts at 7 PM.

The finale of Red Bull Mat El Kalam will take place on September 28th at El Sawy Cultural Wheel in Zamalek, which will also see performances from surprise guests to bring a fiery end to the event.
