Rootzadelics to Host ‘Mash Them Down’ Album Launch Party at CJC Feb 27
The Gouna-based outfit is known for their soulful blend of reggae, psychedelic dub and electronics.

El Gouna-based band Rootzadelics are set to host a launch party for their new album, ‘Mash Them Down’, at Cairo Jazz Club, Agouza on February 27th.
Made up of musicians George Aboutar, Yousef El Sioufy, Marcos Delgado and Akram Alsharif, Rootzadelics are known for their soulful chill vibes and eclectic sound, blending reggae, and psychedelic dub with electronics. For ‘Mash Them Down’, which they recorded entirely live in the Red Sea town of El Gouna, the outfit is dabbling more into the dub-psychedelic side of the sonic spectrum. The album will be available on all streaming platforms starting February 27th.
The party will also feature local DJ Mizology on opening and closing duties. Doors open at 8 PM. For ticket booking and reservations, message CJC on Facebook.
