Saudi Arabia & UK Launch Cultural Research Fellowship Programme
A new Saudi-UK fellowship offers archival research training in the UK for cultural studies.
A joint fellowship programme has been launched to support cultural research on the Arabian Peninsula, bringing together institutions in Saudi Arabia and the United Kingdom.
The initiative, introduced by the Ministry of Culture, offers selected participants a 10-week residency at the The National Archives, providing access to archival collections and hands-on research training.
The programme, titled the Arabian Peninsula Cultural Research Fellowships, is delivered in partnership with Effat University and supports a range of research areas related to the region’s cultural history.
Participants will be able to work directly with archival materials while engaging with cultural institutions across the UK as part of the residency.
The fellowship is open to applicants capable of conducting independent research in English, regardless of their professional background. Applications are open until May 11th.
