Construction Begins on USD 354 Million Dubai Healthcare City Expansion
Pixel and Ibn Sina+ form the first phase of a wider plan to grow the healthcare free zone.
Construction has begun on two new developments within Dubai Healthcare City, as part of a USD 354 million expansion programme led by the Dubai Healthcare City Authority. The projects, Pixel and Ibn Sina+, mark the first phase of a broader plan to expand facilities and services across the healthcare district, with completion targeted for November 2027.
Pixel is planned as a nine-storey office building designed to meet high environmental standards, including LEED Platinum certification. The development will offer around 13,000 square metres of flexible office space, alongside ground-floor retail aimed at supporting healthcare businesses operating within the zone.
Ibn Sina+ will extend the existing Ibn Sina complex through a five-storey medical facility, adding capacity for surgeries, diagnostics, outpatient services and medical offices. The project is expected to cover approximately 5,800 square metres.
The expansion also includes supporting infrastructure aimed at improving accessibility and serving the growing community around the healthcare district.
