Saudi Producer Mesh Hits Top Beatport Charts With Techno EP ‘You’
The EP secured no. 1 in the Top 10 melodic house and techno releases, and no.8 in the top 100 releases chart.
Bahrain-based Saudi producer and DJ, Meshal Alluqman, aka Mesh, has secured number one on Beatport Charts for the Top 100 melodic house and techno releases with his EP, ‘You’. The three-track EP also landed at number eight on the platform’s general Top 100 Releases chart.
Released under Melbourne-based record label UGENIUS, ‘You’ is a melodic thumper of progressive rhythms with dark brooding undertones. One track is an original cut by Mesh and dynamic Argentine-Bangladeshi duo Ark Nomads, while the other two are remixes by renowned Australian collective Bohm.
Mesh crafts immersive soundscapes, infused with haunting melodies, warped vocals and heart-quenching synths peppered with cultural influences. His productions have garnered the attention of techno giants like Innellea, ARTBAT, Juliet Fox and more. He has also graced the stage of international festivals like the Amsterdam Dance Event (ADE).
Off stage, MESH is the founder of the Bahrain-based event series Kube, which has previously showcased performances by global electronic acts like Massano and The YellowHeads. Additionally, he is the A&R manager at Lelantus Records, a label specializing in melodic house, techno and indie dance music based between the US and Germany.
