Seera & El Waili Collaborate on Lo-fi Psychedelic Track ‘Nafas’

Saudi female rock band Seera and Egyptian producer El Waili have released a collaborative lo-fi psychedelic track titled ‘Nafas’.

Throughout the track, El Waili introduces new compositional elements, juxtaposing deeply soothing lo-fi electronics with airy psychedelic textures, and crafting a sound that feels nostalgic and futuristic at the same time. ‘Nafas’ features introspective lyricism speaking of loneliness, relationships and belonging, with Nora - the lead singer of Seera - delivering mellow vocals that float dreamily amidst El Waili’s distinctive percussion and warm bass riffs.

True to its moniker, ‘Nafas’ emanates a tranquil and soul-stirring aura that feels like a breather from one’s compulsive overthinking. The track is released as part of Spotify KSA’s Fresh Finds Saudi Arabia Class of 2024 program.
