Unseen Record Label Releases ‘Resilience’ to Raise Funds for Lebanon
Headed by French techno and house DJ Citizen Kain, Lebanon-based Unseen released a VA to help those affected by the Israeli attacks on Lebanon.
Unseen, an international record label headed by world-renowned French techno and house producer Citizen Kain and spurred by a team based in Lebanon, has released a VA titled ‘Resilience’ to raise funds for the people of Lebanon.
‘Resilience’ encompasses 13 tracks by a roster of regional and international techno and house giants, including Lebanese virtuous Rolbac, Marseille-based DJ/producer Rafael Cerato, Brazilian sound system Binaryh, and Italian-American underground techno maestro Heik, along with Kain himself. The compilation serves as a collective act of defiance crystallized into sound, and a testament to the unbreakable determination of artists who refused to be silenced, amidst the brutal assaults by the Israeli Occupation Forces on Beirut and Southern Lebanon.
“[Resilience] is a raw and unapologetic compilation that captures the indomitable spirit of the global music community. In these uncertain times, as the world faces unprecedented violence and the future becomes a question mark, artists everywhere, against all odds, refuse to fade into the background,’’ Unseen’s Lebanon-based team said in the announcement, ‘’This release is a declaration of the will to continue and not let circumstances stifle creative expression.’’
‘Resilience’ is now out on all streaming platforms, with all proceeds to be donated to the Lebanese Red Cross.
