ZMAGRYA to Host First Anniversary Party in Montreal Jan 10th
The party celebrates the Maghrebi music scene in the diaspora, with a fresh lineup of local talents, encompassing genres like rap, rai, shaabi and electronic music.

Over the past year, Montreal-based Maghrebi-led collective ZMAGRYA has been actively pushing traditional Moroccan music into the global nightlife scene, while spotlighting North African talents in the diaspora through their series of niche parties and curated musical nights.
On January 10th, at Montreal’s famed venue Le Belmont, ZMAGRYA is curating a special ‘Maghrebi Rhythm’ night in celebration of its one-year anniversary, bringing together a fusion of various genres and sounds of Maghreb, from rai and shaabi to hip-hop and electronic dance.
The party features live performances and DJ sets from a fresh lineup of rising Moroccan talents, like Abdel Kadiri, Nawfal, Zina, Manalou, Tesqui and Spinellii.
