UAE Announces Total Ban on Drones & Light Sport Aircraft
Officials urged residents, hobbyists and operators to strictly follow the rules, warning that any violations could lead to legal action under applicable laws.
The UAE’s General Civil Aviation Authority (GCAA) has reiterated that the ban on operating drones and light sport aircraft across the country remains in force. The authority said the restriction applies to all operators without exception, stressing that compliance with the directive is mandatory due to the exceptional circumstances currently facing the country.
