NFL Flag Football Event Moves From Riyadh to Los Angeles
The inaugural Fanatics flag football event featuring NFL stars has been moved from Riyadh to Los Angeles.
The inaugural Tom Brady and Fanatics Flag Football Classic will take place at BMO Stadium in Los Angeles on March 21st, 2026, after organisers moved the event from Kingdom Arena in Riyadh. BMO Stadium, located in Exposition Park, is also scheduled to host flag football during the 2028 Summer Olympics.
The event will feature current and former NFL players alongside professional coaches. Tom Brady will return to the field for the first time in an official game setting since his 2023 retirement. Brady and Jalen Hurts will captain the Founders FFC team, coached by Sean Payton.
Their opponents, the Wildcats FFC, will be captained by Jayden Daniels and Joe Burrow, with Kyle Shanahan serving as coach.
Ahead of the match, team captains will draft 12-player rosters from a pool of athletes that includes Saquon Barkley, Myles Garrett, Odell Beckham Jr., Rob Gronkowski and Logan Paul. Drew Brees and Larry Fitzgerald will act as commissioners for the event.
A third squad composed of athletes from USA Football will also compete. The team will be led by captains Aamir Brown and Darrell Housh Doucette, with Jorge Cascudo serving as coach.
Matches will follow modified Olympic flag football rules and will be played on a 50-by-25 yard field with two 15-minute halves and a running clock. The three teams will compete in a round-robin format, with the top two advancing to a championship game.
The event is produced by Fanatics Studios and will be broadcast on FOX Sports, FOX One and Tubi.
