Amani Ceramics Launches Multisensory ‘Healing Through Art’ Sessions
Dubai-based Amani Ceramics has launched ‘Healing Through Art’, a multisensory creative experience centred on clay, drawing and guided self-expression.
In a quiet Dubai studio, guests begin not at a wheel but with taste, touch, sound and feeling—a curated set of prompts that settles the nervous system before any clay is touched.
This is Healing Through Art at Amani Ceramics Pottery & Art, a guided, multisensory, creative session led by ceramist Amani Eltigani Badur. The session begins before participants touch the clay, using taste, touch, sound and other prompts to encourage reflection and focus. The flow then moves from intuitive drawing—translating mood on paper without judgement or technical expectation—to hand-building with raw clay, resulting in a personal keepsake.
“Clay has an extraordinary grounding ability. It demands physical presence,” Amani said. “Often, there are thoughts or feelings we struggle to articulate verbally, but through raw clay and sensory prompts, participants find a natural, non-verbal outlet to externalise what’s inside.”
Sessions are available one-to-one or for private groups of up to six people aged 16 and above, including couples, friends, families and co-workers. The experience is designed around shared reflection rather than technical ceramics training, with participants leaving with the piece they create during the session.
To mark the launch, the studio is offering 20 complimentary places across Saturday sessions running from August 28th to September 19th, from 5 PM to 7 PM. Registration is through Amani Ceramics’ Instagram account, with places allocated weekly ahead of each session.
Amani combines her ceramics practice with training in art therapy and cognitive behavioural coaching. The studio also runs regular hand-building and wheel-throwing classes for different experience levels.
Outside the launch offer, private three-hour sessions are priced at AED 350 for individuals and AED 250 per person for groups of two to six.
