Alicia Keys is Touching Down in AlUla for Second Show in Saudi Arabia
The acclaimed singer-songwriter will perform at Maraya during the ancient city's arts festival.
American singer-songwriter Alicia Keys is returning to Saudi Arabia to perform at the AlUla Arts Festival this February 24th, for the second year in a row. The fifteen-time Grammy winner will also host the second installment of the ‘Women to Women’ discussion at Madrasat Addeera the following day, which highlights inspiring women from across the region.
Keys gave a spellbinding performance at the sold-out show last year. Fans made their way along ancient winding roads, weaving through the intricate rock formations of AlUla to see Keys perform. Festival-goers also had the chance to attend the first edition of the Women to Women talk between the RnB musical sensation and Princess Reema bint Bandar Al Saud, the first female Saudi ambassador to the US.
The AlUla concert is presented by Good Intentions, a newly launched Saudi Arabia-based creative consultancy co-founded by Kasseem ‘Swizz Beats’ Dean, Alicia Keys’ husband. Dean also recently co-produced her latest album, ‘Keys’.
The annual cultural festival takes place at the Maraya Concert Hall at AlUla from February 15th until the 28th. The event will also host the country's first Andy Warhol exhibition at Maraya, which will be displayed until May 16th.
