Banyan Tree AlUla Wins Best Hotel Exterior in 2023 by Prix Versailles

The prestigious Prix Versailles has announced the winners of its 2023 World Titles, recognising outstanding architectural projects from around the globe. Amongst the honoured projects, Banyan Tree AlUla in Saudi Arabia was awarded the Special Prize for Exterior.
This all-pool villa resort, which opened its doors in October 2022, features 47 tented villas seamlessly blending with the desert landscape. Each villa is adorned with an exquisite collection of Arabian-inspired antiques, offering guests a truly unique experience.
The resort offers a range of accommodations, including the Dune One Bedroom Villa and the Dune Three Bedroom Pool Villa, with pathways illuminated by fire pits leading to the pool and villa. It also boasts the Rock Pool, nestled amidst the sandstone mountains of Ashar Valley, a Health Centre, and two dining venues, Saffron (Banyan Tree's signature Thai restaurant) and Harrat (offering local cuisine).
