Casino Resort Wynn Al Marjan Island Sets September 2027 Opening

Wynn Al Marjan Island is scheduled to open in September 2027 in Ras Al Khaimah, bringing the UAE's first commercial gaming facility alongside a luxury resort featuring more than 1,500 rooms, a theatre, marina and private beach.

The opening timeline was confirmed by Craig Billings, Chief Executive Officer of Wynn Resorts, during the company's quarterly investor call, with the developer stating that the project remains on track to welcome guests from September 2027.

The resort will feature 22 restaurants, lounges and bars, a 900-seat theatre, a 15,000-square-metre luxury retail promenade, 12 swimming pools, a marina for superyachts, 420 metres of private white sand beach, a luxury spa and a beach club. Construction has entered its final phase, with structural concrete work on the project's 70-storey landmark tower now complete.

Wynn Resorts became the first company to receive a commercial gaming licence in the UAE in 2024, following the establishment of the General Commercial Gaming Regulatory Authority, which introduced the country's regulatory framework for commercial gaming and responsible gaming.

Infrastructure supporting the development also continues to advance. A 548-metre bridge will connect Al Marjan Island to the E311 and E611 highways, while a planned flying taxi service is expected to link the island with Dubai in journeys of around 15 minutes.
