Red Sea Sailing Regatta ETA Cup Series Sets Sail In El Gouna This May
The two-day event showcases racing sailboats along the shores of El Gouna’s Bayoud reef.
Between May 12th and the 13th, the Red Sea Sailing Regatta ETA Cup Series will host its third and final event of the season along the shores of El Gouna’s Bayoud reef.
The event is a community effort organised by Red Sea Sails in collaboration with El Gouna Sailing Club. Taking place every few months under the Egyptian Tourism Authority (ETA), this two-day event showcases racing sailboats to promote the Red Sea as an international sailing destination, especially during the winter months, and engage locals in an activity that's well-suited to the wind and warmth of the Red Sea. Spectators are encouraged to watch the event between 11 AM and 3 PM.
