UAE’s flydubai Named Best Low-Cost Airline in the Middle East
The AirlineRatings.com awards also named Qatar Airways as the Airline of the Year for 2024.
Flydubai, the airline based in the UAE, has been recognized as the best low-cost carrier in the Middle East. This accolade comes as part of the annual awards ceremony hosted by AirlineRatings.com, renowned for its comprehensive airline evaluations.
Having assessed global carriers on 12 criteria including passenger reviews, fleet age, product offerings, and safety ratings, flydubai was commended for its performance across these metrics, cementing its status as a leading airline in the region.
The awards also named Qatar Airways as its Airline of the Year for 2024 and has further secured the Best Business Class award for the fifth consecutive year, along with Best Catering.
Other notable winners include Emirates, recognized for Best In-Flight Entertainment and Best Premium Economy, as well as Etihad Airways, which was honoured as the Best Environmental Airline for the third year running.
These accolades underscore the Middle East's prominence in the global aviation industry, showcasing airlines that excel in providing superior travel experiences across various categories.
