'Watch iT!' Pays Tribute to Mahmoud Yassine with Dedicated Category of His Greatest Works
To honour his legacy, streaming platform Watch iT! will feature a number of the late Mahmoud Yassine’s works in film and television.
In commemoration of his contributions to Egyptian cinema and television, streaming platform ‘Watch iT!’ is honouring the legacy of the late legendary actor Mahmoud Yassin (1941-2020) with a special category that will feature a large selection of his works. The category will include some of the star’s most notable television series such as ‘El ‘Osyan’ (2002), Souq El-‘Asr (2002), and Khalf El-Abwab El-Moghlaqa (1999), as well as his hit films, ‘Daqqit Qalb’ (1976), Hob w Kebreia’ (1972) and ‘El Rosasa La Tazal f Gayby’ (1974).
Mahmoud Yassin led a career that spanned almost 45 years across different genres, and was involved in more than 250 productions in film and television. The star’s last film appearance was in the 2012 comedy drama ‘Gedo Habibi’.
