Cairo University Students Can Now Get Engineering Degrees in 4 Years
The decision will apply to both regular and credit-hour system students starting from the 2023/2024 academic year.

The Faculty of Engineering at Cairo University has announced a ministerial decree allowing engineering students to graduate after four years instead of five. For the first time, Cairo University's engineering students can complete their degrees in four years, which will be applicable to both regular and credit-hour systems.
The official decision was issued by Dr. Ayman Ashour, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, regarding the 2023 regulations for Cairo University's Faculty of Engineering. The decision will apply starting from the 2023/2024 academic year.
