Egypt's Famous Sindbad Park is Up for Auction Once More
The auction requires a deposit of EGP 5 million for participation.
The land that contains the once-popular Sindbad Amusement Park in Cairo's Nozha neighbourhood will once again go up for auction, after previous attempts to auction it off earlier this year have fallen short. According to Mustafa Mukhtar Hanafi, a prominent valuation expert, the public auction will employ a closed envelope system, and is scheduled to take place on Sunday, October 22nd, 2023.
The Sindbad Amusement Park land spans an area of 6,011.85 square metres and is situated on Joseph Tito Street. The auction requires a deposit of EGP 5 million for participation, while the terms and specifications document is priced at EGP 2,000.
Owned by Rabetat Rowad Al-Yasmin, which serves and provides for pensionable police officers and their families, the Sindbad Amusement Park land has garnered significant attention in previous auction attempts earlier in 2023.
