Downtown Cairo’s Egyptian Museum is now offering an educational summer programme for children. Running till the end of August, the programme focuses on Egyptian history, heritage and arts.
The first session titled ‘Egypt Meets Greece and Rome’ includes a guided tour of halls 49 and 50 situated on the museum's ground floor, highlighting the impact of ancient Egyptian civilization and art on the artistic traditions of both Greek and Roman cultures.
Through a range of guided tours and artistic and educational workshops, the programme sheds light on different historical eras.Specialized guided tours are also available for children with visual, hearing, and intellectual disabilities. To book a slot head to the Egyptian Museum’s Facebook page.
