Haya Karima Initiative Starts Campaign to Distribute 1,000 Wheelchairs

Haya Karima, a national initiative to improve living conditions in Egypt’s rural areas, has launched a new campaign titled ‘Khuta’ to make 1,000 regular and electric wheelchairs more accessible to people with disabilities. The campaign will begin by distributing 51 wheelchairs to people with disabilities identified by Haya Karima.

The campaign’s launch coincided with World Humanitarian Day and was inaugurated at the Shibin Al-Kom Center with a celebration at Menoufia University Stadium, in coordination with the Menoufia governorate and Menoufia University.
