King Fahd International Airport in Dammam is about to get a major upgrade after SAL Saudi Logistics Services committed SAR 100 million to the rehabilitation project.
The funding will go towards the enhancement of the airport's air cargo building to help improve its operational capability and customer service experience, boosting its efficiency with the latest technologies and equipment.
The project is part of the National Transport and Logistics Strategy, as well as the National Aviation Strategy, which hopes to elevate Saudi Arabia's airports and transform the Kingdom into a world class centre of logistics.
