World record holder Ali Abdo is on a mission to bring attention to the global climate crisis as part of the follow-up to the COP27 United Nations Climate Change Conference in Sharm El Sheikh.
Egyptian adventurer and Guinness World Record holder, Ali Abdo, is setting out to break yet another record: to go on the longest electric motorbike ride ever. Sponsored by the Ministry of Environment, Abdo is on a mission to bring attention to the global climate crisis as part of the follow-up to the COP27 United Nations Climate Change Conference being held in November at Sharm El Sheikh.
Abdo’s journey will be livestreamed by the United Nations Environment Programme as part of Environment Day. As the first Arab to break three world records on motorbike, Ali Abdo has been using his achievements to raise awareness on global warming and incite change. His latest adventure will start from Luxor’s Abu Simbel Temple all the way to Sharm El Sheikh. Along the way he will be meeting up with students and government officials to spark necessary conversations around climate change.
