Mirna Arif Becomes First Female Country Head at Microsoft Egypt

Mirna Arif has just been announced as the first female Country Manager at Microsoft Egypt. The AUC alumni graduated in 2002, after which she spent 12 years at global oil services company Schlumberger before becoming an assistant to the Minister of Petroleum and Mineral Services. She then moved onto become the Regional Director for Digital Transformation at GE Oil & Gas. Finally, she joined Microsoft in 2019, where she quickly climbed through the ranks to now spearhead Microsoft’s operations in Egypt.
