Mirna Arif Becomes First Female Country Head at Microsoft Egypt
Mirna Arif has been appointed as the first female Country Manager at Microsoft Egypt, with hopes to promote Egypt's digital transformation.
Mirna Arif has just been announced as the first female Country Manager at Microsoft Egypt. The AUC alumni graduated in 2002, after which she spent 12 years at global oil services company Schlumberger before becoming an assistant to the Minister of Petroleum and Mineral Services. She then moved onto become the Regional Director for Digital Transformation at GE Oil & Gas. Finally, she joined Microsoft in 2019, where she quickly climbed through the ranks to now spearhead Microsoft’s operations in Egypt.
Arif plans on using her newly acquired role to promote digital transformation in Egypt, in line with Egypt’s Vision 2030 sustainable development goals.
