Fujairah Crown Prince Establishes Philharmonic Orchestra

Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamad bin Mohammed Al Sharqi, Crown Prince of Fujairah, has issued a decision to establish the Fujairah Philharmonic Orchestra. The orchestra will be composed of music students from academies, educational institutions and schools in the emirate.

The initiative focuses on training children, adolescents, and youth in various musical disciplines through practical and theoretical education, workshops and specialised programs.

This decision follows the establishment of the UAE National Orchestra in December 2024 under the patronage of Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs to promote Emirati music and culture.
