Gawdat Announce First-of-its-Kind MENA Dance Music Label 'DancIN’’
An extension of Beatroot Records, the label is a launchpad for rising production talent from the region’s dance music scene.
Egypt’s trailblazing DJ/producer duo Abdelrahman and Aly Gawdat have announced the launch of a groundbreaking MENA-wide electronic dance music label.
Titled ‘DancIN’’, the label will serve as a launchpad for rising production talent from the region’s eclectic dance music scene, providing them with networking opportunities, event residencies, and visibility among renowned DJs and global industry leaders, in addition to receiving support from their collaboration with US-based distribution giant, EMPIRE Dance.
An extension of Beatroot Records, founded by the duos’ brother Omar Gawdat, the label will embrace a wide range of genres from tech-house, funk, and disco to minimal, and deep-tech.
Deeply influenced by 90s R&B culture, classic soul, and jazz basslines, Gawdat’s playful style have filled dance floors across the regional and global clubbing circuit for over 14 years including headlining sets at famed festivals from Caprices to Sunwaves.
