Asser Yassin & Amina Khalil's 'Shamarikh' Will Hit Cinemas in December

In a new Instagram post, Egyptian star Asser Yassin shared a new poster for his upcoming film ‘Shamarikh’, in which he and co-star Amina Khalil seem to exist in a post-apocalyptic dimension, armed with strange-looking guns and oxygen masks.

The plot follows a wealthy owner of a balloon factory played by Asser Yassin who falls in love with Amina Khalil’s character. Directed by Amr Salama, the film is scheduled for release in December 2023.

The cast for ‘Shamarikh’ includes the likes of Khaled ElSawy, Adam Elsharkawy, Sally Hammad, Mostafa Darwish and Mohamed Tharwat, amongst others.
