Award-Winning Film ‘Yellow Bus’ to Screen at VOX Cinemas in KSA & UAE

Award-winning Arabic film ‘Yellow Bus’, directed by Wendy Bednarz and starring Kinda Alloush, Amit Sial and Tannishtha Chatterjee, will be screened at VOX cinemas across Saudi Arabia and the UAE starting May 16th.

The film, set in an unnamed Gulf country, follows the story of an immigrant family from South Asia which is beset by tragedy when their daughter vanishes. The film touches on themes of grief and justice, as well as broader challenges to the region’s socio-political realities and treatment of immigrant minorities.

The film has won a number of international awards, including the World Vision Award for Best Film at the Cinequest Film Festival hosted in San Jose, California as well as winning the Best Film Award at the Johannesburg Film Festival which took place in Johannesburg, South Africa.
