Ghada Adel Stars in Arabic Adaptation of American Series ‘Good Girls’
The Arabic adaptation, titled ‘Lunch Box’, will also star Jamila Awad and Fadwa Abed in the leading roles.
Renowned American crime comedy 'Good Girls' is getting an Arabic adaptation featuring Egyptian actors Ghada Adel, Jamila Awad, and Fadwa Abed. Titled 'Lunch Box', the series is set for a 30-episode run and is scheduled to be broadcast during the Ramadan season.
Directed by Hisham El Rasheedy and written by Amr Medhat, the narrative unfolds around three women - two sisters and their friend - embroiled in a comedic tale of robbery. As they strive to distance themselves from this underworld, they find themselves drawn into more criminal activities.
The cast will also feature Egyptian actors Ahmed Wafik, Hesham Ismail, and rapper and actor Shahin.
The original American series, created by Jenna Bans, enjoyed a successful four-season run from 2018 to 2021.
