Hit Heist Comedy ‘Bank El Haz’ is Getting a Sequel
The heist comedy continues the tale of a former banker who teams up with his co-worker to rob their own bank.
‘Bank El Haz’, the 2017 film that turned every broke friend group’s ‘let's just rob a bank’ joke into reality, is getting a sequel! Starring Mohamed Mamdouh and Akram Hosny, this heist comedy continues the tale of a former banker who teams up with his co-worker to rob their own bank.
Joined by a clumsily amusing video gamer played by Mohamed Tharwat, the trio serves up a series of misadventures that satirize the classic heist genre. The sequel is currently in the scripting stage, and will be written by Mohamed Ezzeldin and Mostafa Sakr, with Ahmed El Gendy tapped as the director.
The film's theatrical release is scheduled for the summer of 2024.
