‘La Casa De Papel’ Star Enrique Arce to Star in New Egyptian Movie

Spanish actor Enrique Arce, known for his role as Arturo Román in ‘La Casa De Papel’, has arrived in Cairo to begin work on his first Egyptian film, ‘Kaka Harvest Season’. Arce will portray El Goliador, a Spanish mobster in his 40s with a reputation as one of the most dangerous figures in the criminal world.

Arce has begun rehearsing action scenes at a villa in Al Obour City and has started filming initial scenes for the movie. ‘Kaka Harvest Season’ combines action and comedy, featuring a cast of Egyptian stars such as Mohamed Tharwat, Mahmoud Hafez, Hamza El-Eily and Wizo.

The film is produced by Claquette Arts and 100 Media Production, with Mohamed Emad writing the script and Moataz Hussam directing. As Arce transitions from his iconic ‘La Casa De Papel’ role to the world of Egyptian cinema, fans can look forward to seeing him in a new light that’ll pretty much confirm we are, indeed, living in a simulation.
