Lotfy Labib Will Be Honoured at Alexandria Mediterranean Film Festival
The tribute will occur during the opening ceremony at the Alexandria Library Hall on October 1st.
Veteran Egyptian movie star Lotfy Labib, famed for his roles in films like ‘El Sefara Fi El Omara’ and ‘Bittersweet’, will be honoured in the 40th edition of the Alexandria Mediterranean Film Festival.
Taking place from October 1st to the 6th, the festival is set to take place under the presidency of film critic Prince Axab and the patronage of Minister of Culture Dr Ahmed Fouad Hano and General Ahmed Khaled Hassan Said, the governor of Alexandria.
The tribute will occur during the opening ceremony at the Alexandria Library Hall, where Lotfy Labib will be recognized as one of the pillars of Egyptian cinema.
The Alexandria Mediterranean Film Festival stands as one of the Mediterranean region's premier film festivals, with a goal to promote cultural and artistic exchange among Mediterranean countries and honour artists who have significantly contributed to the enrichment of cinema.
