Official Trailer Released for Amir El Masry Film 'Giant'
Directed by Rowan Athale and produced by Sylvester Stallone, the boxing drama features a leading performance from El-Masry alongside Pierce Brosnan.
The official trailer for 'Giant', starring Amir El-Masry, has been released ahead of its UK and Europe cinema launch this October. The film draws inspiration from the life of British-Yemeni boxing legend Prince Naseem Hamed, charting his rise from modest beginnings to global stardom under the guidance of coach Brendan Ingle.
Directed by Rowan Athale and produced by Sylvester Stallone, the film features a leading performance from El-Masry alongside Pierce Brosnan. Its release is expected to follow in the US and Middle East shortly after the October rollout.
El-Masry recently earned critical attention for his role in 'In Camera', which premiered at the 57th Karlovy Vary International Film Festival and competed in several others including the BFI London Film Festival and CIFF. He also stars in the upcoming '100 Nights of Hero', based on Isabel Greenberg’s novel and directed by Julia Jackman, as well as 'The Stories', opposite Nelly Karim and directed by Abu Bakr Shawky.
