As part of our ‘Rolling: Red Sea Saudi’ series, we caught up with Sarah Taibah, lead actress in Saudi short ‘Mera, Mera, Mera’ and got the scoop about her role in the film, and what it’s like to see it on the big screen.
“The director asked me not to use any makeup and keep my hair messy, I look as if I were truly at home” Sarah Taibah tells SceneNowSaudi on the red carpet at the fourth edition of the Red Sea Film Festival. A comedy-drama, ‘Mera, Mera, Mera’ tells the story of a man who loses his ability to speak, except for one word. This newfound vocal restriction leads him down a rabbit hole of events, with quite the intriguing outcome.
‘Mera, Mera, Mera’ is directed by Khaled Zidan, and stars Ismael Al-Hassan, Sarah Taibah, and Khaled Yeslam.
