The Louvre Abu Dhabi Will Be Open Seven Days a Week This Month

Louvre Abu Dhabi is now open seven days a week throughout December, giving visitors more time to explore its exhibitions, activities and culinary offerings.

The museum’s ‘Post-Impressionism: Beyond Appearances’ exhibition is currently running until February 9th, 2025, featuring over 100 masterpieces by Vincent Van Gogh, Paul Cézanne, and Georges Seurat. ‘Art Here 2024’, open until December 15th, highlights contemporary works from GCC and North African artists under the theme ‘Awakenings’.

Food lovers can enjoy exclusive experiences such as ‘Secret Dinners’ on December 6th and the 8th, hosted by Chef Tariq Taha, with a menu inspired by the Post-Impressionism exhibition. For a deeper dive into craftsmanship, ‘Bejeweled: A Symphony of Gemology and Art’ on December 10th explores the history of 11 treasures from the museum’s collection through talks and live streaming. Families can engage in ‘Picturing the Cosmos: Winter Space Camp’ from December 16th to the 27th, where children aged seven to 12 can learn teamwork and problem-solving through art and science.

Fouquet’s at the museum offers a ‘Post-Impressionism Dining Experience’, with a menu that mirrors the brushstrokes of Post-Impressionist masters. Adventurers can take to the waters around Louvre Abu Dhabi with kayaking and catamaran rides for a unique view of the iconic architecture.
