The Voice Behind Disney’s Mulan & Jasmine is Coming to Dubai
Disney legend Lea Salonga is bringing her ‘Stage, Screen and Everything in Between’ live show to Coca-Cola Arena in November.
Filipino singer and actress Lea Salonga - the singing voice behind Disney’s Mulan and Jasmine - is set to host a night of show tunes and movie soundtrack classics with a live performance at Dubai’s Coca-Cola Arena on November 10th.
As part of her ‘Stage, Screen and Everything in Between’ tour, the upcoming show will see her perform some of the all-time favourite musical numbers from plays like ‘Lés Miserables’ and ‘Cats’.
Lea Salonga was officially recognised as a Disney Legend by the Walt Disney Company in 2011 in recognition for her portrayal of Princess Jasmine in Aladdin. In 1993, she became the first Asian actress to perform in New York’s Broadway when she played the role of Éponine in ‘Les Misérables’. She has also starred in several world-renowned productions including ‘Cinderella’, ‘My Fair Lady’ and ‘Once on This Island’.
Tickets for the live show officially go on sale on Friday April 26th at midday, but are available in the Livenation presale 24 hours earlier.
