Astra Nova Raises $48.3 Million to Scale Web3-AI Entertainment Tools

Riyadh-based startup Astra Nova has secured $48.3 million in funding to accelerate the expansion of its suite of AI-driven Web3 entertainment tools. The financing includes approximately $41.6 million from the latest funding round, building on earlier backing from strategic investors across Saudi Arabia, the UAE and Bahrain.  Astra Nova’s technology enables creators to build interactive, blockchain-based experiences with minimal technical expertise. Flagship products include TokenPlay AI—a no-code platform for launching mini-apps, NovaToon—a Web3 webtoon platform integrating NFTs and fan-co-creation, and Deviants: Fight Club—a Telegram-based PvP game that uses the startup’s RVV token for rewards and in-game economics.  The capital will be used to expand Astra Nova’s team, accelerate product development and enter new markets across the Middle East, Europe and Asia. The company also emphasises regulatory compliance and global scalability, amid partnerships with NEOM, NVIDIA Inception and Alibaba Cloud.
