Forbes Will Build First Middle East Tower in Egypt’s New Capital
The Forbes International Tower will be designed to be fully sustainable.
Global business magazine, Forbes, signed a deal with Magnum Real Estate Company, a subsidiary of the Saudi Al-Rawabi Company, to build Forbes’ first brand commercial tower in the world, and the first Forbes tower in the Middle East, in Egypt’s New Administrative Capital.
The tower, which has been branded the Forbes International Tower, will be fully sustainable in accordance with international standards.The 55-floor tower is designed by world-renowned architect, Adrian Smith, whose most notable projects include the UAE’s Burj Khalifa, Saudi Arabia’s Jeddah Tower, and the United States Trump Tower. Under his firm ‘Adrian Smith & Gordon Gill Architects’, the tower will boast their signature smooth curves, and exterior integration of glass and steel. The 55 floors will include spacious and open-plan office spaces, with two full floors dedicated to a range of luxurious retailers and fine dining establishments.
The commercial tower has a unique location within the northern central business district of the New Administrative Capital in Cairo, and its innovative design aims to harness the power of the surrounding natural resources to improve energy efficiency standards, with a roof that will be equipped with solar panels to boost automated heating, cooling, and air conditioning systems, as well as a slew of other smart building technologies.
