Golden Residency Program Launched in Oman to Attract Investors
Coinciding with the rollout, the government also introduced the Mujeedah Companies initiative, which recognises high-performing Omani firms.

A Golden Residency Program has officially been launched in Oman, designed to attract investors and business owners as part of the country’s wider efforts to diversify its economy and strengthen its investment landscape under Vision 2040.
The program, introduced by the Ministry of Commerce, Industry, and Investment Promotion, offers long-term residency to qualified applicants and aims to make Oman a more competitive investment hub. The launch was announced during the Sustainable Business Environment event in Salalah, held under the patronage of Dhofar Governor Sayyid Marwan bin Turki Al Said.
Coinciding with the rollout, the government also introduced the Mujeedah Companies initiative, which recognises high-performing Omani firms, alongside a new digital service enabling commercial registration transfers through the Invest Oman platform.
The Golden Residency program forms part of Oman’s broader economic transformation strategy, supporting foreign investment and reducing reliance on oil revenues. Applications and further details are now available via the Invest Oman platform.
