The annual Startups without Borders Summit is back for another edition, this time taking on a hybrid online-offline format streaming live from Rome and Cairo at the same time. Taking place on December 11th and 12th, this year the summit invites key players in the tech space and international investors to explore what ‘back to normal’ really entails under the overarching theme ‘Reconnect the dots’.
Streaming from two main stages from the LVenture Hub in Rome and the American University in Cairo, through their startup accelerator AUC V-Lab, the summit will offer entrepreneurs the chance to connect and learn from global giants including Microsoft, Meta, SAP, Nokia and IBM.
Hosted in partnership with Meta, UNDP, Edventures, ZOHO, and AUC V-Lab, the summit will feature panels, workshops and masterclasses from experts in Europe, USA and MENA that will engage in discourse centered on five main tracks from crypto to the path to 2030. The event will feature a lineup of venerable speakers including Roberto Croci, Managing Director for Microsoft for Startups MEA, Stephen Ibaraki, Founder of AI for good, Amal Dokhan, Partner at 500 Global MENA, Sheraz Ahmed, Head of Business at Crypto Valley and Riad Hartani, author of Tech Nomads of the Universe.
The summit will also host a handful of activities including a masterclass for Creative Economy Entrepreneurs with Meta and an EdTech Demo Day, offering the opportunity to pitch to international VC with EdVentures. Along with the high-profile speakers and lucrative activities, the summit will also serve as a Launchpad for Startups without Borders Chapters, which opens the door to young changemakers to launch their own chapter and enrich startups ecosystems in their communities.
The Startup World Cup Europe-MENNA connect is one of the most highly-anticipated features of the summit, calling on leading entrepreneurs from around the globe to pitch for a chance to win USD one million in the finals in Silicon Valley.
