Syd Life AI Strikes $1 Billion US Partnership With Altius
UK-founded and UAE-headquartered, the preventive health platform says it will take its LQM and LQI to US employers and health systems.
Abu Dhabi–based startup Syd Life AI has launched a major expansion into the US market through a $1 billion multi-year partnership with Altius, aimed at large-scale rollout of its preventive-health artificial-intelligence platform.
The deal positions Syd Life AI’s proprietary Life Quality Index (LQI) and Large Quantitative Model (LQM) to serve US employers and health systems, with goals including the early detection of health risks, reduction of chronic-disease burdens, and improvement of population-wellbeing outcomes.
Founded in 2015 by Lorena Puica, Syd Life AI has built its platform on a foundation of 1.2 million peer-reviewed studies and field validation. Its offering includes predictive analytics, lifestyle insights, and enterprise-grade wellness tools.
With this move, Syd Life AI intends to scale US operations starting December 2025 and intends to integrate preventive-health technologies into employer-wellness programmes and healthcare delivery.
