The Entrepreneurship Awards Empowering Egyptian Startups
Ahead of the fourth edition of Egypt’s Entrepreneur Awards, we sat with Mansi to discuss the origin story behind the event.
As the founder of ievents and co-founder of IMP - the producers behind Shark Tank Egypt - Amr Mansi is the former squash champion turned pioneering entrepreneur who has brought some of Egypt’s most iconic events and experiences to life, including the glitzy El Gouna Film Festival and the Egyptian Squash Open at the Pyramids of Giza.
And yet, Egypt’s Entrepreneur Awards is perhaps the project closest to his heart. An ambitious, first-of-its-kind movement born of his own challenging entrepreneurial experiences, as well as a deep desire to showcase Egypt’s extraordinary entrepreneurship talent, the EEAs - now in their fourth edition - have recognised over 150 entrepreneurs.
With this year’s awards planned for September 21st, we sat down with Mansi to discuss the origin story behind this pay-it-forward startup story.
