1.3 Million Tourists From 80 Countries Visited Egypt in October 2023
This marks an increase of 8% compared to October 2022.
According to the Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities,1.3 million tourists from 80 different countries visited Egypt in October 2023, marking an increase of 8% compared to October 2022.
Meanwhile, around 25,000 new hotel rooms are set to be established by the middle of 2024, as part of a larger project by the Egyptian Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities to attract 30 million tourists by 2080.
In 2023, Egypt’s tourism revenues surged to approximately USD 13.6 billion, demonstrating a growth of 26.8% compared to 2022.
