179 Educational Projects Inaugurated in Makkah & Jeddah
The total number of classrooms reached 5,408 classrooms, with a total capacity to accommodate 203,250 male and female students.

On behalf of the Emir of Makkah, Prince Khalid Al-Faisal, deputy Emir of Makkah, Prince Saud bin Mishaal, inaugurated a total of 179 educational projects in Makkah and Jeddah.
These 179 projects include 123 projects in Jeddah, and 56 in Makkah that are implemented in partnership with the private sector. The total number of classrooms covered by these projects reached 5,408 classrooms with a total capacity to accommodate 203,250 male and female students, and will make use of 199 evening schools and 62 rented buildings.
The inaugural ceremony for the projects was held at Eshbelia Secondary School in Jeddah, and was attended by Minister of Education Yousef Al-Bunyan along with a number of other princes and senior education department officials.
