Abu Dhabi Tops Numbeo’s Safest City List for 9th Straight Year

Numbeo, a crowdsourced global database that tracks quality of life metrics such as housing indicators, perceived crime rates, healthcare quality and transport efficiency, has ranked Abu Dhabi as the safest city in the world.

This would be the 9th consecutive year in which Abu Dhabi has claimed the top spot on Numbeo’s safety index, out of 382 cities globally. Only cities with a sufficient number of contributors are included in the rankings. The index, which is continuously updated, is based on data collected over the past 36 months, and includes survey questions modelled after those used in scientific and government studies.
