Actors Syndicate Will Fine Producers Who Cast Bloggers Without Permits

The Actors Syndicate has announced that it will impose a fine of up to EGP 1 million on producers who cast bloggers in artistic works associated with the Syndicate, without having sought prior licensing from the Syndicate. According to Ashraf Zaki, the head of the Syndicate, the new rule is a response to the growing number of producers who attempt to hire bloggers as actors without putting them through the proper channels.
